an up day

Good Evening, Fasting Fam!

I walked at lunch and earned 261 extra calories, and wish I had more! I’m 101 calories over the 1757 total I had set for myself yesterday (the midpoint number between my TDEE and BMR) but I’m not too worried about it. I only had around 1300 calories yesterday so I’m still in a calorie deficit. Tomorrow (Tuesday) is my 58th birthday, and it’s back to a normal modified fast day of 0-800 calories. I have nothing planned other than working out with my workout partner as normal.

Today’s intake:

Reflections: one tostada would have been enough, and I wish I had more calories right now, not because I’m actually hungry but because I’m craving something salty and crunchy and a bag of Quest nacho cheese protein chips has fewer calories than one of those tostadas and 4g more protein. Duly noted for next time.

I instead made a tumbler of chamomile herbal tea, colored my hair, and will watch some Ru Paul’s Drag Race and the second episode of The Burbs on Peacock as a distraction.
