Hi Fasting Fam! Today is my 58th birthday, and it was a day like any other. It was sunny and beautiful outside and my workout partner and I hiked up Mt. Tabor after work, and that was truly magical.


My first down day meal of the day was delicious:


My next fast day meal, as usual, was a high protein egg scramble with a cheese slice prior to hiking up Mt. Tabor:


Because that hike is somewhat strenuous (we did a portion of the steep stairs) I enjoyed a chocolate protein shake afterward and ended the down day / modified fast day at 825 calories.
Looking forward to that big bowl of cereal tomorrow morning on my up day! I use Fairlife fat free protein milk in it to help me feel full. Lately my favorite cereal is Rice Crisps (Walmart’s version of Special K). I add a bit of sugar free Torani vanilla bean syrup to the protein milk and that first bite is orgasmic, especially after a down day!
