Hi Fasting Fam! It felt so great to sleep in today. My package from Harmony House arrived and these soups look incredible! They are in general 50 calories per serving but a few are 30 calories and one so far is 60 calories. Regardless, these are a down day game changer and I look forward to trying them all!

Yes, this is a bit obsessive, but variety will help keep me on track on my fast days. Today’s down day soup knocks my past down day soups out of the park!

I’m already excited for my next down day on Tuesday and will try the Black Bean Chili Mix next. I opened up that pouch and it smells hearty. Today’s soup has 19g protein and only 5g fat. The protein, large quantity of liquid, and huge amount of veggies are filling.

Since I’m using a half cup per soup each pouch will make 3 soups. The lentils, tofu, Miracle Noodles, and added fresh roma tomato, green onions, and grated carrots really helped flesh it out. These come unseasoned, so I added a Knorr bouillon cube, some pink Himalayan salt, and black pepper to it. I made the lentils in the Instant Pot without oil and just added some cumin and garlic powder.

I am a big volume eater and this took quite a while to finish, and three hours later I am still full. Wow. I had intended to also have a chicken breast on lettuce and the egg scramble today, but I may only need the egg scramble.

Off to plan tomorrow’s up day! Hope everyone has a great week ahead!

Lou
