Fasting Fam, after all of the planning I did for the week, I learned today that our team outing will cover two days instead of one, starting tomorrow, which would normally be a fast day. Oy.. but these things happen, and I’m not going to deprive myself of this twice a year day of drinking, doing a fun activity, and dinner (with more drinking) with my team. The next day will be the actual work meeting and there will be only one meal served that day, a catered in build your own gyros bar.
That said, I’ve rearranged my ADF week to be:
Tuesday: tomorrow, which should have been a down day: I won’t eat until 11:00 since we’ll be meeting at the bar at 1:00. I’ll have a chicken sandwich. I’ll enjoy all the food and drink with my team since I only see these people twice a year and it’s all on the company dime.
Wednesday: OMAD – enjoy the Greek food catered in at lunch and that’s it.
Thursday: a regular down day – having Dad over for dinner instead of going out and making him a hamburger while I have a hamburger salad.
Friday: a modified up day with no more than 1700 calories
Saturday: a regular down day
Sunday: a regular up day, going to Mexican food with a girlfriend
I was 219 again today on the scale but hadn’t done a #2 yet so who knows.
Today’s indulgent up day eats:
- Coffee with half & half
- Home made pineapple ginger kombucha
- Cereal (but of course!)
- A Vital brand personal pepperoni cauliflower crust pizza (will not repurchase, it’s really bland and only had 4 pepperoni slices WTF??)
- A Thousand Island chicken salad (always yummy)
- A veggie stew using the Harmony House Black Bean chili mix. It was good and filling!
- a handful of saltwater taffy from the beach
- 2 hash brown patties
- 6 Coors Lights
Needless to say, I won’t be weighing myself again until after completing Thursday’s down day.
