Fasting Fam, it’s taken me a while to get back on the fasting track, and today I had a great modified fast day! A new game changer for me is the Better than Bouillon seasoning paste – it dissolves so easily and has the perfect taste for a simple sipping broth that I’ve been savoring throughout the day today from an insulated thermos. I’ll use the rest of the traditional hard cubed bouillon for bone broth. I’m at around 650 calories for the day. The menu was:
Iced black coffee with zero calorie Torani coconut syrup
Sipping broth
Chicken, lettuce, with Taco Bell hot sauce as zero calorie dressing
Ham and mustard rolled up in a smaller low carb tortilla
2 hard boiled eggs, 10 baby carrots, 1 cup blueberries
Next week I’ll fast on Monday and Wednesday; on Friday I’m off to Morro Bay, California, to be with my boyfriend, but after that I should be able to get back into an ADF cadence.
