Fasting Fam, it felt so great to fast on Friday and I felt that with the frequent trips to the loo that I got rid of a lot of bloat. It has been a fun weekend with friends and festivities, and I feel another fasting day is in order as a reset. The menu is similar to Friday’s: iced black coffee with sugar free sweetener, skinless rotisserie chicken and cucumber, egg scramble with salsa, broth, and a ham and mustard rollup.
I’ve been coloring in my adult coloring books again and that has really helped time to fly by and to help with anxious thought patterns. The focus and relief it gives is tremendous! When I became a remote worker in 2020 my art space became my office and coloring slowly went by the wayside, but I need it for my mental health, I’m finding. What are your guyses’ creative outlets, and how do they help you on your fast days?
